How one young equestrian turned her love of horses and baking into Mane Course

Hi! I’m Angelina, a 16-year-old equestrian with a lifelong love of horses and a passion for baking.

I started Mane Course when I was 11. The idea began one Saturday afternoon while I was baking treats to bring to the barn. Every weekend, a few of my friends and I would get together to ride our horses, and I started bringing homemade treats for everyone to share. I loved coming up with fun creations—mini pies, pizzas, even sushi—and, luckily, the horses loved them too.

Before long, my friends started asking how I made the treats and if they could make them themselves. That sparked an idea: what if everything you needed to bake special treats for your horse came together in one kit?

And that’s how Mane Course began.

Since then, my horses, Harry and Kingsley, have been my very willing taste testers. Harry is always eager to try whatever I make, while Kingsley is a bit harder to impress.

Mane Course grew from something I loved doing for my own horses into something I could share with other equestrians. I hope each kit brings a little of that same joy to your barn—and that you have just as much fun making the treats as your horse has eating them.
